jesus bar

Last night I went out to get drinks with Jared and Daniel. The bar we found had walls covered with Jesus iconography. I was reminded of our mod at Hampshire. The bathroom wall was covered with porn. We got into a conversation about French culture and the definition of 'culture.' Jared wanted to stop the dialogue with some pomo bullshit. I said he was trying to have a different conversation. Daniel was frustrated too. Jared made the remark that 'you must have these kind of conversations all the time at Hampshire.' That was interesting. Maybe it was good to have a lively discussion.

  1. YEAH, AT HAMPSHIRE WE ENJOY EATING GRILLED SANDWICHES ALL THE TIME

(DOES THAT KIND OF COMMENT QUALIFY AS "POMO BULLSHIT")

  2. i have to admit i very rarely talk about pomo bullshit. in fact, i'm pretty sure that i make a conscious effort to avoid those types of conversations. if anything, the majority of my conversations have to do with either psychology, game theory, or food.

  3. yeah, I try to avoid it too at school. That's why I was a little surprised when my friend made that comment. But I do think what Ezra said about grilled sandwiches is basically true.
